Wanderings of the Eye
The series “Wanderings of the Eye” expands earlier reflections on the motif of the gaze. Here the eye leaves the surface of the image and appears in space as an object. It ceases to be merely a representation and becomes a form that exists somewhere between sculpture and sign.
In these works the eye is no longer attached to a specific body or subject. It moves between objects and spaces, shifting points of view and directions of perception. Its presence suggests the movement of vision itself, constantly searching for new relations between the viewer and the visible.
These objects can be understood as material traces of perception—fragments of the act of seeing captured in form. The eye becomes an autonomous entity that transcends the boundaries of the image and begins its own journey through space.
